Your apologies are not enough. You are citizens in the most powerful country in the world and you are responsible for what is done in your name. You may think that casting a vote twice a decade to choose between tweedle-dum and tweedle-dee is 'doing your best', but it isn't.

You need to do a lot, lot more than vote for a second rate Bush clone and then say sorry when people vote for the Real Bush they know rather than the 2nd rate Kerry Bush-a-like who only said that some bits of the war on terror are OK.

You should be on the streets protesting, not on the internet apologising.

Taking part in democratic elections do not allow you to ignore the damage your leaders are doing to the world.

This planet will only become a better place if the people who live in the most powerful countries do something about it. Being a 'nice' liberal just won't do it. We need to take some responsibility and make some real changes.

We'll take care of Blair and Blunkett if you take care of Bush and Condi.
